Hurricane Helene left devastating destruction across Western North Carolina this past weekend, impacting countless lives and displacing families. At Ascot Homes, this disaster hits close to home, as some of our employees' loved ones were directly affected. The loss is heartbreaking, and the path to recovery will be long, but as a community, we believe in standing together. Ascot Homes is actively involved in relief efforts, gathering essential donations at our office to be delivered to affected areas. We are also donating funds to the American Red Cross to assist in disaster relief. We encourage our community to contribute to the recovery efforts, either by donating items or funds, to help those who have lost so much.

However, a recent downward trend in mortgage rates is a welcome relief for homebuyers and the feds cutting interest rates created quite the excitement today bringing an optimistic outlook to homebuyers and homebuilders throughout the remainder of 2024.
